I was born in Queensland, grew up in Toowoomba and went to university in Brisbane to study marketing and Advertising. Upon finishing my degree, I bought a kombi and began travelling Australia picking fruit and working in wineries. I arrived in Melbourne in 2003 and fell in love with the city and my inspiring group of friends. I travelled through South and Central America and then lived in Edinburgh and London for 18 months before returning to Melbourne in 2007. I have been working in the disability field for the last three years and currently work at a respite house for young people with intellectual disabilities. I love to work in wineries when vintage comes around each year and am looking forward to commencing a degree in wine making next year. I enjoy music festivals, playing drums, painting, writing and having an icy cold beer with a good friend on a sunny day.
